Trip to Frasers Hill
Every year, we make it a point to spend at least a few days at Tanglin Bungalow, just to rest and relax. Its so quiet and peaceful. And the food prepared by Kak Rokiah is superb.
This year's journey was a bit longer than usual. We spent at least 4 hours on the road because of the jam on PLUS highway. Lucky for us, we took Guthrie Highway. If not, we're probably spend more time on the road. By the time we reach Frasers Hill, we were so hungry and tired. We had our late lunch and rested till about 8pm. Then makan lagi. Barbeque. Yum yumm... we had lamb, chicken, beef and some buttered rice. Sedapnya. Looks like I'm going to gain a few kilo's during the weekend. (no pictures of the barbeque cause the photographer was busy eating).
The next day was spent at Allen's water park and another park(not sure whats the name of the place, tapi u can ride the horse and there's some rabbits in a cage. Also ada tempat archery).
Jalan... jalan... sedar2 its already lunch time. By then everybody was feeling tired and hungry. That evening, it rained a bit. The next day we left Frasers Hill at around 11.30pm.
Traffic was good. It took us only about 2 to 3 hrs to reach Kelana Jaya.
When is the next vacation? Hmm.. not sure yet... As for now, I leave you with some pictures taken at Frasers Hill.

Trip to Janda Baik
Last Friday, we went to Janda Baik. We went there cause I had to attend a personal development course given by my company. It was a good course, and I definitely enjoyed it eventhough we had to go jungle trekking. Some of the things that I learned during the course was about planning and various tools that we can use to monitor, review and implement it. In life, whether its work, or your ownpersonal development. You should plan to PLAN. And it would be beneficial if you can do it from the start so that you dont lose track of what you really want to do in life.
Among the tools that was highlighted in the course, I found three tools that's most useful ;
1. Gant Chart
2. Ishikawa Diagram
3. Pareto Law
All three are easy to use and will InsyaAllah help you with your planning, and organizing, whether its for work or your personal life.
InsyaAllah, I will also use the tools taught during the course in my life. After all what is ilmu without amal right? :)

Study Leave... or not?
I still went for my study leave. And best of all, I took time off during lunch time to shop some cloths for Zahra. Here's some of her pictures in her new attire.

Errk..
Yesterday was not really a good day for me.
First, the report that I was checking was still incorrect. This is probably due to some programming error. And till now it still cant be correct. I wonder if this is because of the *SMR #696
Secondly, I found out that I overlooked the commission detail in an earlier comm report in UAT. Thereby causing the overriding commission to be double the correct amount.
Thirdly, I fell asleep with Zahra and only woke up at about 5am. Baru lah nak solat Isyak. Which made me feel a bit upset as I wanted to create a good impression to Allah Almighty. Definitely not by being tardy. Uwaa.. Sedihnya. Anyway, better late than never kan?(ni nak sedapkan hati jer).
Hopefully today will be a better day.
Started today with arriving in the office earlier than usual. Which is good.
Attended the stabilisation meeting. As usual I was late. TTH actually glared at me. I guess I'm the most unwanted person in the IT Dept. Sigh. Apa nak buat? Not that I overlook the report intentionally.
What can I do... except pray to Allah and tawakkal a lot.
"Ya Allah. Just help me get through today and let me be alert and focus today."
Note:
1. UAT is a system used for testing purposes. When an error occurs in the live system, UAT is used by the user to simulate the same scenario as the live system. This is to identify how the system reacts to different scenarios.
2. SMR is system modify request. Used allocate work to programmers for them attend to request by user to rectify or amend issues that arise in the system.

The 'L I T T L E' Things
Someone forwarded this email to me. And I think its worth your time to read and reflect on it.
The 'L I T T L E' Things
As you might know, the head of a company survived 9/11
because his son started kindergarten.
Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to
bring donuts.
One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go
off in time.
One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
because of an auto accident.
One of them missed his bus.
One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time
to change.
One's car wouldn't start. One went back to answer the
telephone.
One had a child that dawdled and didn't get ready as
soon as he should have.
One couldn't get a taxi.
The one that struck me was the man who put on a new
pair of shoes that morning, took the various means to
get to work but before he got there, he developed a
blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy
a band-aid. That is why he is alive today.
Now when I am stuck in traffic, miss an elevator, turn
back to answer a ringing telephone...all the little
things that annoy me,
I think to myself, this is exactly where Allah wants
me to be at this very moment..
Next time your morning seems to be going wrong, the
children are slow getting dressed, you can't seem to
find the car keys, you hit every traffic light, don't
get mad or frustrated; Allah is at work watching over
you.
May Allah continue to bless you with all those
annoying little things and may you remember their
possible purpose.

Zahra oo Zahra
10 more days to Zahra's birthday. Kalau ikut bulan Islam. She's already 1 year old. Since she's nearly 1 yr old. People kept asking, what can she do now.. So here's a list of things that she can do.
1. She can walk steadily, but sometimes when she's tired. She'll just crawl, very fast.
2. She can say... 'nak' 'bye-bye' & 'baba'
3. Whenever she hears music, she'll sing along.
4. She likes to immitate whenever someone laughs.
5. She gets angry when someone tries to take away things from her grip.
I'll post some of her latest pictures tomorrow. Stay tune...

My dilemma
Yesterday, someone from a recruiting firm called me. And asked me whether I was interested to apply for a C&B position. And without thinking, I said definitely. We talked a bit more. And I asked the location of the company. She said its somewhere in PJ, near the Rothman roundabout. Straight away I knew that its that tobacco company.
I have a 'thing' about working in a tobacco company. Hmm.. Kena pikir dulu lah like this. It would be great if I can get the job. Its going to be a stepping stone for something much better. Also, the benefits package is better than what I'm getting right now. Fikir dulu lah right. No harm in just sending in my resume kan.

I Look I See

I like this album. Zahra pun suka. I caught her swaying to the music when i play the cd.
If you want more info on the album, you can go to this site
(Teacher): "The Prophet Muhammad (sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam) told us that we must obey Allah and His messenger at all times. But who else did he tell us to listen to, and be close to?
(Children): “My Mother!”
Who should you give your love to?
Your respect and your honour to?
Who should you pay good mind to - after Allah,
And Rasullullah?
Comes your Mother,
Who next? Your Mother
Who next? Your Mother
And then you Father
Cause who used to hold you
And clean you and clothe you?
Who used to feed you
And always be with you?
When you were sick, stay up all night,
Holding you tight?
That’s right no other, your Mother
Who should you take good care of,
Giving all your love?
Who should you think the most of - after Allah
And Rasullullah?
Comes your Mother,
Who next? Your Mother
Who next? Your Mother
And then you Father
Cause who used to hear you
Before you could talk?
Who used to hold you
Before you could walk?
And when you fell, who’d pick you up?
Clean your cut?
No one but, your Mother, your Mother
Who should you stay right close to?
Listen most to?
Never say no to – after Allah
And Rasullullah?
Comes your Mother,
Who next? Your Mother
Who next? Your Mother
And then you Father
Cause who used to hug you
And buy you new clothes?
Comb your hair and blow your nose?
And when you cried who wiped your tears?
Knows your fears? Who really cares?
Your Mother
Say Alhamdulillah,
Thank you Allah
Thank You Allah for my Mother
